One of the best points this Peace Corps Volunteer makes is the fact that once you understand a simple, but not necessarily obvious, cultural point you can see how the idea might apply in a lot of different situations. Just as time is seen as flexible, so is the conception of "full" related to a car or public transport. Learning new ways to conceptualize what "on time" and "full" mean from the local standpoint will, over time, also help you understand a great deal about other aspects of the culture. Einstein was right, time and space are relative!
