This section consists of three additional sets of
resources for those using this site. First is a glossary of general terms and
concepts that are found in the Module 1 and Module 2. It
should be useful to students and instructors as both a quick reference and a
general guide to the site content.
The second two resources are short, select introductory bibliographies aimed at
providing study abroad students and teachers/trainers with additional reading
materials on cultural-general topics, cross-cultural adaptation models, and intercultural communication styles and issues. The bibliography for
students begins with suggestion lists for additional readings as part of
preparation for both going abroad and coming home. The teacher/trainer section
contains some essential readings on cross-cultural training issues as well as
descriptions of some widely used cultural simulations and where to obtain them.
